Joel Timothy (Tim) Marlin passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on May 31, 1944, in Corsicana, Texas Tim’s life stretched across decades of change and memory, and he will be remembered with love by those who knew him best.

At the heart of Tim’s life were the bonds of family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Dyer Marlin, whose memory remained an enduring part of his story. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Marlin and Bob Marlin.

He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude: his son, Bryan Marlin; his daughter, Treva Marlin; and his sister, Lisa Marlin Nichols, 2 grandchildren and four great-grand children In their lives, and in the lives touched by his presence, Tim’s memory will continue to endure.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation with the family on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeBerry Family Center, 2020 Emory St., Denton, Texas 76201. A funeral service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at DeBerry Family Center.
