Leonard Russell Walden, 63, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on August 17, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 26, 1959 in Denton, Texas to Tommie and Eddie Bernice (Scott) Walden.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarina Latham, of Slidell, Tx.,  sons, Dusty Walden if Everman, Tx., Tommy Walden of Lake Dallas, Tx., sister Beverly Lefler of Tyler, Tx., and brother, Scotty Leal, and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Russell Walden, his mother and father, sisters, Alice Collins, Doreen Johnson, Sherry Turnage, and Lorri Walden.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 10 AM until 11:30 AM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas, Texas at 12:00 PM.
